Please don’t steal this.

I have a confession: I’m obsessed with offonoff and Colde.

Don’t try to imagine the heartbreak and what-if(s) I’ve had when it’s been nearly five years since my all-time favorite Korean R&B and hiphop album, their lone album, ‘boy.’ (which is...also their only album). Though 0channel continues his work as a producer and Colde has established his own label, it’s still hard to accept that the duo may no longer give us newer work anytime soon (ask any offonoff fan). But offonoff’s music is timeless–and the TKBL proves just how true that is with this list.

Here’s to the best of offonoff and Colde, two of the brightest gems to ever graze Khop and R&B.

15. Gold ft. Dean [boy.]

“It’s so wavy, baby” — indeed it is. This iconic collab between offonoff and Khop icon Dean is all types of smooth and suave.

Watch the official MV here! (Sadly, Dean’s not in it.)

14. String ft. sunwoojunga [Move]

Songs that remind me of deep blue oceans, martinis, and calm skies? This.

13. 시(Shhh)/Poem [single]

Everything about this screams Colde–an aesthetically pleasing masterpiece best blasted in intimate get-togethers or candlelit dinners with someone special.

Check out his live ‘Colors’ performance for this song right here!

12. Light [single]

Inarguably one of Colde’s best singles, this track has unmatched energy. Play it when you’re alone at home dancing in front of your mirror or on a road trip with friends. Your choice. Either way, it works.

11. rain bird ft. Tablo (prod. Code Kunst)

While Colde is mostly known for his livelier, ‘wavy’ R&B releases, ‘rain bird’–his work with Epik High frontman Tablo and producer Code Kunst–is a testament to his versatility. He too can be with you when you’re deep in thought and everyone else is asleep–but your mind and heart aren’t.

10. A Song Nobody Knows [idealism]

Oh wow, you want to feel even sadder? Don’t fret. ‘A Song Nobody Knows’ is the perfect background song for whenever you feel like screaming your lungs out.

9. Control Me [single]

Okay, let’s go back and find our happy place after entries #10 and #11 flooded our eyes with tears. But in all seriousness, this track will live in your head for days…but I think you’ll thank me for that. Sprinkle in some positive vibes this 2022!

8. Dance [boy.]

The song that probably got a lot of people hooked on offonoff. I mean, what’s not to like about it? It’s groovy, it’s chill–it encapsulates offonoff’s musical identity. There’s nothing more you could ask for.

7. I’m in love [single]

This 2021 release is sweet and melodic. Goes well with a slice of cake and a warm cup of coffee. You could practically make an entire Tumblr mood board out of this song. #talkaboutaesthetic

6. Your dog loves you (ft. Crush) [single]

Perhaps one of Colde’s biggest hits, ‘Your dog loves you’ with the amazing Crush is reason #136348 to go and hug your pet. Like, right now. Doesn’t matter if it’s a dog or not.

5. 와르르♥ (WA-R-R) [Love Part 1]

Words cannot express how much I love this song. It just gives a warm and calming feeling, like a hug from Colde himself.

4. It Takes Time(시간이 들겠지) (with Loco)

Though Colde appears shortly in ‘It Takes Time’, the track takes a 360-degree turn when he sings his part. How does one just make this already sad stuff even sadder than it already is? The song is easy on the ears but leaves a tinge of heartbreak. Definitely one of Colde’s best collabs. Thank you, Loco! You know we love you just as much.

3. 내 곁에서 떠나가지 말아요 (Don’t Leave Me, My Love) [Love Part 1]

Confession #2: I’m not a fan of ballads.

But the inescapable magic of Colde has somehow transformed that, and ‘Don’t Leave Me, My Love’ has become one of my all-time favorite releases from our resident #aesthetic boy. Colde’s stellar, soothing voice and the calming sounds of piano and violin are truly a match made in heaven. A lullaby that makes you feel safe and makes you smile out of love and laughter.

And because I love you guys just as much as I love Colde, I’m linking down his live performance in You Heeyeol’s Sketchbook. Trust me, you deserve it.

2. bath [single]

If #3, #10, and #11 weren’t enough to crush your soul, look no further. ‘bath’ was the first single that offonoff released back in 2016 when they first started under HIGHGRND. Trust me, once that first chord hits, you’ll feel a part of yourself shatter into small little pieces. A mix of nostalgia, longing, and melancholy, this stuff hits too close to home. But your ears will love you for it.

The one and only reigning champion – boy [boy.]

Surprise, surprise!

The best offonoff track is no other than ‘boy’, a fan-favorite from the duo’s first album of the same name. Perfect for vibing in the late nights, a Khop party, or just watching the sun set – Colde’s cool, laid-back aura shines through this 2016 hit, and the addictive lo-fi beats make it even better. 0channel’s musical talent is unparalleled and this track proves it. A song to celebrate the days of innocence and carefree youth. Give it a listen. You’ll see why I can never get sick of this song. Ever.

Bonus: Cigarette (with Miso, Tablo) [single]

Name a more iconic trio. You can’t. Most probably because this Miso, Tablo, and offonoff collaboration are like no other. This treasure is entirely in English and has some of the most poetic, most quotable lyrics. If hopeless love and aesthetic had a “song baby”, it would be this. Need something to filter out the world's noise? ‘Cigarette’ is just one Spotify click away.

For promotional purposes: New Vision (with Jeon Soyeon of (G)-IDLE) [Newest single]

When I told you that Colde is a versatile artist, I wasn’t kidding. Just…listen to the song yourself. Don’t get too surprised. Drop the girls of (G)-IDLE some love on Instagram and YouTube!

The admins also would like to apologize for its inactivity last 2021, especially in failing to complete the KPOP 365 annual playlist and year-end awards. Typhoon Rai (Odette) and the rising Covid-19 cases over last year’s holiday season have affected the blog’s operations. Song reviews and insightful articles will continue to be posted in the following months.
